In 1861, Henry Longmore and his family was living in Twerton Parish, Somerset, England

Migrated to the United States on the Monarch of the Sea, April 1864
Traveled to Salt Lake with the John R. Murdock Company. They started thier trip from Omaha, Nebraska on 24 July 1864 and arrived in Salt Lake on 27 September 1862. The comapny consisted of 700 people and 65 wagons.

From the Desert News dated 12 Oct 1895

LONGMORE - At Mill Creek, Oct. 2, 1895, Jane Longmore, wife of Henry J. Longmore, aged 85 years and six months.
Deceased was a native of Oxford, England and was baptized into the Church in 1854 and emigrated to Utah in 1864.
She died a faithful Latter-Day Saint.
