Individual Note:
     After fathers death , he took mothers maiden name of Elsberry

Inventory of Estate dated 21 jun 1769 and mentions Benjamin and William
Elsberry as nearest of kin. By 7 sep 1772 accounting of estate, Rebecca had
married Robert Whitesides.

Children mentioned in the accounting were: John, Benjamin, Frederick, Mary,
William, Lambert, Lydia, Elizabeth, Letitia and Rebecca.

It appears that John was the son of Frederick and Mary Dugell (Dugwell).
There is another son named Jacob, born 11 Nov 1763 to Frederick and Rebecca.
Jacob was bound to a Mr. Miller and moved to Pennsylvania and then North
Carolina. This probably why he doesn't show up on any records in Maryland.
