William Luckie had a grant of land in St Paual's PArish, Georgia. He made his will September 20, 1797, Oglethorpe County, Georgia. Executors: sons, James and Hezekiah. He mentions "money to be given to my beloved wife, owing to me by William Foster Luckie. To wife Mary. To my children as follows: one thired to James, one third to Margaret, one third to Hezekiah. To all the rest of my children five dollars each. Exrs: Sons James and Hezekiah Luckie and John Lawson. Wit: John Lawrence, John Johnson. Will Book B, Oglethorpe County, Georgia, page 228
   
In an attempt to retake Augusta, Georgia from the Briyish, a William Luckie was among the Americans killed.

William Luckie and James Luckey (sic), sons of Edward, received headright grants of land in St Paul's Parish, Richmond COunty, Georgia, Headrghts granted in Franklin County, Georgia went to Jesse Lane, William Luckey(sic), Alex Luckey and David Luckey.

A William LUCKIE is listed, Private, North Carolina Continental
